The Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) Ideas Lab 2026 is a prestigious fully funded programme that brings together young climate leaders, policy thinkers, and innovators from around the world for a high-level policy experience in Brussels, Belgium. Organized by CEPS—one of Europe’s leading think tanks—the Ideas Lab is an annual gathering that shapes conversations around major global challenges, especially climate change, energy transitions, sustainability, and the future of Europe.

Young leaders selected for the 2026 edition will participate in workshops, panel discussions, policy labs, and strategic networking sessions with EU officials, researchers, diplomats, and environmental experts. The programme offers a unique platform to explore climate solutions, influence policy thinking, and strengthen international collaboration.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must generally meet the following requirements:

  • Be a young professional, researcher, activist, or student interested in climate action
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to sustainability or climate-related work
  • Possess strong analytical, communication, or policy engagement skills
  • Be able to attend the full event in Brussels
  • Show experience or interest in public policy, climate innovation, advocacy, or community engagement

Applicants from all countries and disciplines are welcome.
