The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2025 is a prestigious international entrepreneurship program aimed at empowering women impact entrepreneurs from all over the world. Launched by Cartier in 2006, the initiative supports early-stage, women-led businesses that drive strong social or environmental impact.
The program is open to female entrepreneurs leading for-profit businesses that address global challenges in innovative and sustainable ways. Each year, regional and thematic awards are granted to outstanding women entrepreneurs to scale their ventures and expand their leadership impact.
Thematic Award
The thematic award is open to women impact entrepreneurs from any country and sector. For each edition, three fellows will be selected.
The fellowship is part of the human capital support they offer fellows. It is peer-, industry- and academic-based educational programming for skills and leadership development and business growth of fellows.
COMMUNITY
A vibrant, lifelong global community of 500+ active members that include impact entrepreneurs and their supporters.
INSIGHTS
Driving an active conversation on women-impacted entrepreneurs through content curation and research partnerships.
For each edition, three fellows will be selected from each of the nine regions below:
- LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
- NORTH AMERICA
- EUROPE
- FRANCOPHONE SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA
Benefits
Selected fellows of the Cartier Women’s Initiative 2025 will receive:
- Up to $100,000 in grant funding (based on award level: first, second, and third place)
- Tailored one-on-one business mentoring and leadership coaching
- International exposure and media visibility
- Access to Cartier’s network of global impact leaders, investors, and industry experts
- Participation in an annual Impact Entrepreneurship Retreat
- Opportunities to pitch ventures to global stakeholders

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2025, applicants must:
- Be women entrepreneurs leading or owning a majority stake in a for-profit business
- Operate a business that is impact-driven, early-stage, and revenue-generating
- Have a company that is at least one to five years old
- Demonstrate measurable social and/or environmental impact
- Be proficient in English (the program language)
- Be willing to commit time to the program and its activities
