The Dear Mother Nature Global Postcard Writing Contest 2024 is a unique initiative by Udaan Youth Club, designed to celebrate World Nature Conservation Day. Through this contest, individuals from diverse backgrounds are invited to express their love and gratitude for Mother Nature using the timeless medium of postcards. Participants can write original, heartfelt messages encapsulating their personal connection to the environment and their commitment to its preservation. The contest aims to raise awareness about nature conservation and inspire collective action to protect our planet—one postcard at a time.
Benefits
- Financial Support: Fellows receive grants of up to $20,000 to pursue their reporting projects, covering expenses such as records requests, travel, data analysis, and stipends.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants:
- Can be from any background or demographic.
- Must start their postcard message with “Dear Mother Nature” and end with two rhyming lines or one closing line.
- Should draw inspiration from Udaan Youth Club’s official website or social media channels.
- Must write their message in English (original content, not AI-generated) within 75-100 words.
