The Europe Youth Sounding Board Ghana (YSB) Volunteer Program 2025 is an exciting opportunity for young Ghanaians passionate about youth empowerment, advocacy, and shaping the future of EU-Ghana relations. This fully funded volunteer initiative seeks to include youth voices in policy discussions and program planning, ensuring that youth perspectives are reflected in decision-making processes.

The Europe Youth Sounding Board Ghana (YSB) is an EU initiative that brings young people together to act as advisors and advocates for youth-related projects and policies. In the Ghana chapter, volunteers will contribute to discussions on development, policy implementation, and advocacy while collaborating with the EU Delegation to Ghana.

Participants will gain firsthand experience in influencing decisions that shape the trajectory of youth development programs in the region. This volunteer program runs throughout 2025 and is open to young leaders from diverse backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a Ghanaian citizen aged 18–30.
  • Proven interest in youth advocacy, development programs, or public policy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to commit to the full duration of the program in 2025.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in diverse and multicultural teams.

Application Process and Documents Required

  1. How to Apply:
    • Visit the official EU Delegation to Ghana website or the YSB Ghana portal.
    • Complete the online application form and upload required documents.
  2. Documents Required:
    • Updated CV/Resume.
    • Copy of Ghanaian ID or passport.
    • A personal statement (maximum 500 words) highlighting your motivation and experience in youth advocacy.
    • Two reference letters from mentors, teachers, or employers.
