The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) is proud to announce the Women’s Fellowship 2024. This groundbreaking program is dedicated to empowering women leaders around the world to enhance community resilience against environmental crime. The fellowship is a part of the GI-TOC’s Resilience Fund and aims to address the intersection of gender and environmental crime by supporting women who are protecting our planet.

Benefits 

The GI-TOC Women’s Fellowship 2024 offers significant benefits, including:

  • grant of £12,000, payable in three instalments, to support initiatives combating environmental crime.
  • Tailored capacity-building sessions to strengthen the fellows’ expertise and leadership skills.
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals in the field to guide the fellows through their projects.
  • Opportunities to network and collaborate with peers at global policy-making forums, including the 12th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime in Vienna, Austria.
  • Access to the Resilience Fund Community Platform for ongoing support and engagement in global dialogues.

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants must:

  • Be women actively involved in environmental protection efforts.
  • Demonstrate a connection between their work and the fight against organized environmental crime or illegal trade in natural resources.
