The International Civil Society Week (ICSW) Journalist Fellowship 2025 invites passionate journalists from around the globe to apply for a fully funded opportunity to attend ICSW 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. This fellowship is designed to empower media professionals who are committed to reporting on civil society issues, human rights, democracy, climate change, and sustainable development.
Through this program, journalists will gain access to global civil society leaders, policymakers, and activists, while amplifying stories that inspire social change. By joining the fellowship, selected journalists will also be part of a vibrant global movement pushing for civic space and social justice.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be professional journalists (print, digital, TV, or radio) with proven experience.
- Demonstrate interest in civil society, human rights, democracy, or social justice reporting.
- Have strong writing, storytelling, or multimedia skills.
- Be able to publish or broadcast content resulting from their participation.
- Fluency in English (preferred) for effective engagement at ICSW.

- Provide samples of published work (articles, broadcasts, or digital features).
