The International Union for Conservation of Nature – IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025 Changemakers Program is an exciting fully funded opportunity for young innovators passionate about conservation and sustainability. The Changemakers Program will take place during the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, bringing together global environmental leaders, policymakers, and activists to discuss pressing global conservation challenges.
This program provides a platform for young changemakers to showcase their ideas, network with experts, and gain the skills needed to drive meaningful environmental impact in their communities.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the IUCN Changemakers Program 2025, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
- Be actively involved in conservation, climate action, sustainability, or environmental innovation.
- Have a demonstrated impact in their local communities through environmental projects, research, or advocacy.
- Have a strong motivation to contribute to global conservation efforts.
- Be proficient in English, as it will be the primary language of communication during the event.
Application Process and Documents Required
- IUCN World Conservation Congress Changemakers will be selected by IUCN from a shortlist created by One Young World.
- Applications may be submitted in English, French, or Spanish, the three official languages of IUCN.
