The Johns Hopkins Healthcare Design Competition 2025 invites innovative, student-led teams worldwide to showcase their groundbreaking solutions for healthcare challenges. This Johns Hopkins Healthcare Design Competition focuses on advancing healthcare innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration. It is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who have developed projects or prototypes addressing medical and healthcare challenges. Teams can apply under one of three categories:

  1. Digital Health/Information Technology
  2. Medical Devices
  3. Global Health/Humanitarian Design

Application Process and Documents Required

  1. Online Registration: Complete the registration form on the official competition website.
  2. Project Proposal: Submit a detailed proposal highlighting the problem, solution, and potential impact.
  3. Team Composition: Provide information about team members and their roles.
  4. Optional Supporting Materials: Include videos, prototypes, or additional documents to strengthen your application.
  5. Presentation Pitch (for finalists): Finalist teams will prepare a presentation for the live event.
