Eligibility Criteria
- Open to emerging artists, collectives, or cultural practitioners working in any artistic discipline.
- Applicants should be in the early stages of their career or practice, with a demonstrable commitment to developing a specific project.
- Projects must demonstrate creative originality, cultural sensitivity, and social relevance.
- Applicants should demonstrate a realistic plan for how the €5,000 will be used to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Both individual and group applications are usually accepted; applicants must have legal capacity to receive funds and implement a small project.
Application process and documents required
- Create an account on the Prince Claus Awards Platform and start a ‘New Submission’ for the Seed Awards 2025;
- Complete all required fields and attachments. You can work on, make changes to, and save the ‘in progress’ application up until the deadline. Please note that once you have applied, you will not be able to make any amendments. Only completed and submitted applications will be considered.
- Once you have submitted your application on the Prince Claus Awards Platform, check that you have received an automatic email confirmation.
