Samsung South Africa, through its Equity Equivalent Investment Programme (EEIP), is inviting applications for the 2025 Enterprise Development Program. This initiative is designed to empower black-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in South Africa by providing strategic business support and development opportunities. As part of its commitment to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE), Samsung seeks to help scale innovative, high-potential businesses, especially in the technology, manufacturing, and services sectors.

This program aligns with South Africa’s national transformation agenda and is implemented in partnership with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC).

Eligibility Criteria
  • You have to be a South African Citizen and Company, registered in SA by laws of the country;
  • Your business needs to be at least 51% black owned, operating for a minimum of one (1) year;
  • Your turnover has to be less than R50 (fifty) million per annum;
  • Your business has to be classified as an Exempted Micro Enterprise (“EME”) or Qualifying Small Enterprise (“QSE”), as defined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003 (as amended from-time-to-time);
  • Proven track-record of operating in the Consumer Electronic Repair or ICT industries;
  • You need to have the relevant certification and expertise for your business; and
  • You need to have good communication skills, business acumen, interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial capabilities.
