Eligibility Criteria
The Scholarship Program is open to all incoming first-time freshmen who meet the following criteria:
- Be admitted to Texas Tech University by April 15, 2024.
- Have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or a minimum ACT score of 25.
- Have a minimum class rank of top 25% or a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or an international student who meets the eligibility requirements for in-state tuition.
- Not be a current serving military personnel or a recipient of another long-term Texas Tech University scholarship.
Application Procedure
To apply for the Texas Tech University Freshman Presidential Scholarship Program 2024, applicants must follow these steps:
- Apply for admission to Texas Tech University online here or by mail here.
- Submit the official transcripts and test scores to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by April 15, 2024.
- Check the scholarship eligibility and award amounts here.
- Wait for the scholarship notification, which will be sent by email and mail by May 1, 2024.
- Accept the scholarship offer and enroll at Texas Tech University by May 15, 2024.
