Women of Colour businesses are vital to our economy. Fearless Fund and The Tory Burch Foundation are partnering again to launch the Women of Colour Grant Program along with The Cru.
Together, they will award up to 150 deserving small businesses $10,000- $20,000. In addition, you will be awarded access to a peer network to help you continue to build and grow your business.
Benefits
- Receive $10,000- $20,000 in grants to go towards business growth
- Participate in monthly meetings with a curated Cru of fellow grant recipients between April 2022 and April 2023
Eligibility Criteria
—Revenue generating (Minimum annual revenue of $100,000 strongly preferred)
—Identify as a woman of colour owner
—One to five years in business preferred
—Formed under United States law and operating in the United States
—For profit, from any industry
—legal U.S. residents (including D.C.);
—eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older) (which is eighteen (18) in most states, but is nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska, and twenty-one (21) in Mississippi);
—A principal owner of a U.S.-based small business, as described below (referred to herein as, “Entrants”).
—NOTE: Current members of The Cru are eligible for this program if and only if they meet the above qualifications and are eligible for membership renewal between the dates of January 1 and April 1 2022.
JUDGING PROCEDURE AND CRITERIA
All eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period will be judged by Program Administrator based on the following criteria :
1) Viability and strength of business
2) How the business and owner intends to use the grant and annual membership to The Cru
3) Potential for business growth.
At the conclusion of each Entry Period, the eligible Entries with the highest ranking for such Entry Period, as determined by the judges, in their sole discretion, will be declared potential grant recipients (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. At the conclusion of the overall Promotion Period, the one (1) eligible Entry with the highest score, as determined by the judges, in their sole discretion, will be declared a potential grant winner (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In the event of a tie for any prize level, the tied Entries for such prize will be re-judged based on: Potential for business growth (0-10 points). If there is still a tie, Sponsor and Administrator will bring in a tie breaking judge to apply the same judging criteria to break the tie and determine the potential winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than seventy-five (75) winners if, in their sole discretion, they do not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries. Limit one (1) grant awarded per small business.
