The Women in News (WIN) Leadership Accelerator Programme 2024 is a prestigious, nine-month career and leadership development initiative designed for women journalists and editors from sub-Saharan Africa. This program, organized by the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), aims to enhance the leadership skills of mid-level newsroom managers and equip them with the tools needed to drive change in their organizations and communities.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the WIN Leadership Accelerator Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Gender: Open to women journalists and editors.
- Location: Must be based in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of active experience in the newsroom as a journalist, reporter, correspondent, or editor.
- Commitment: Demonstrated passion for the news media industry and a commitment to gender equality and press freedom.
- Language Proficiency: Strong spoken and written knowledge of English, as the program will be delivered primarily in English.
