The WomEng Southern Africa Fellowship 2024 is a flagship programme of WomEng, a non-profit organization that empowers women in engineering and technology. The programme is powered by De Beers Group, a leading diamond company that supports the development of young talent in the region. The programme is designed to provide a comprehensive and tailored training for young women who have an educational background in engineering, physics, electronics, or industrial physics. The programme offers an opportunity for the participants to be exposed to world-class operations and hands-on training in the prestigious Supply Chain Academy, the academy for best practices in manufacturing technologies, equipment, and machines.
The programme aims to empower young women to pursue their interests and careers in engineering, which is often underrepresented by women and girls. The programme also offers a range of enrichment activities, such as coaching and mentoring, development opportunities, learning programs, and work with iconic brands.

Eligibility Criteria
The WomEng Southern Africa Fellowship 2024 is open to young women who meet the following criteria:
- Be female and a graduate with an educational background in engineering, physics, electronics, or industrial physics.
- Have 0–3 years of work experience.
- Have OND, HND, or BSc in the relevant field.
- Be open to valuable learning and career opportunities.
Application Procedure
To apply for the WomEng Southern Africa Fellowship 2024, applicants must follow these steps:
