The Cecil Renaud Overseas Scholarship provides a remarkable opportunity for young South Africans to further their studies in the United Kingdom. Established in honor of Dr. Cecil Renaud, a prominent Durban philanthropist, the scholarship is awarded annually to one or two outstanding students for postgraduate study at a UK university of their choice.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be under the age of 27 at the time of application.
- Have completed a major part of their secondary schooling in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Be in their final year of a postgraduate honors degree or a four-year undergraduate degree.
- Exhibit academic excellence, aiming to achieve cum laude or summa cum laude, along with Dean’s Commendations and Certificates of Merit or equivalent.
