Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the WBG Africa Fellowship Program, applicants must:
- Be a recent Ph.D. graduate (within three years of completion) or be enrolled in the last year of their Ph.D. program.
- Have an excellent command of English (both written and verbal).
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Be under the age of 32 by the closing of the application period.
Application Process and Documents Required
Follow these steps to apply:
- Abstract Submission: Submit a short abstract of your research interests and expertise.
- Consult the Units: A short-list of candidates will be made available to different WBG units based on specialization.
- Final Selection: The final list of fellows will be selected in consultation with various WBG units. Selected candidates will be notified and hired as short-term consultants starting January 2025.
